I'm passionate about Ecommerce and Marketing.
My father gave me a Commodore 64 computer back in 1990. It was a bundle with a Batman videogame. I spent countless sleepless nights, but not playing: programming. In 5th grade, we had computer science as an optinoal activity where we learned BASIC, and the teacher (Ruth) discovered that I wasn't there just to pass the time when, in the periodic tests where she examined us, I got a result of 30 instead of 10 (I found Amstrad CPC 464 easy to code).
I graduated in Computer Science from Complutense University of Madrid, and later completed a Master Degree in Marketing and Sales Management.
I started making transactional websites in 1997. In 2002, I fortunately ended up in the marketing team of a large multinational named Media Markt: the largest european electronic devices retail. The main learning I got was that if you understand these two languages, sales grow: marketing and technology.

That wasn't just any marketing team: we launched one of Spain's most successful and copied campaigns. The NO TAX DAY!
As part of the team of the incomparable Mònica Agustí, I experienced incredible things like, for example, launching the first Black Friday campaign in Spain following the trend of major U.S. retailers (which has since been copied countrywide).

I consider Media Markt the Cathedral of Marketing. Behind the success of the brand, I also learned from directors (and mentors) who were at the helm like Salvador Martí and Ferran Reverter, or creatives who should pass to history like Edu Fernández or Marc Estada
Subsequently, I had the good fortune to be part of the management teams of large companies (such as Just Eat, Lladró and Abacus), developing and executing marketing and e-commerce plans, or rebranding and merging the two leading food delivery companies.
I also worked as the Marketing Director of the mobile payments startup Verse, sold to Twitter founder Jack Dorsey.

In parallel, I have been part of the teaching staff of important business schools, and I have given training to leading national brands thanks to hundreds of in-company training courses.
And I have taken advantage of the opportunity to start several businesses, harvesting successes and failures in my own companies, which I also consider a master's degree.

Currently, I dedicate myself to coordinating several teams as a Fractional Management role, for companies such as Arcos, Admira, and Scalextric.
I have this belief since I learned to use that first computer: technology must serve humanity. In my case, my passion is Ecommerce, because thanks to it, anyone who sells can reach audiences beyond their physical location.
Another day I'll explain how churros are sold online... ;)
In my free time, I like to practice sports, especially mountain biking, sailing when I can, and traveling all around the World with my wife and son. We also participate in a Family Foster Care program at Cel Obert Catalan agency.
